102. Stunning Color Block Eye Makeup
Now, when we have given you guys some creative and amazing eye makeup ideas, it’s only fair that we provide you with the detailed tutorial on one of the most popular trends this summer. Yes, you caught it right, it’s color blocking.
Color blocked eye makeup is bold and vibrant. It is simple to create but can be difficult to carry if not done the right way! So, here I am with a head-turning color block inspired eye makeup look. Yes, it is a little eccentric, but that’s what creativity is all about, right? So, are you ready to create an eye-popping look with color blocking? Just follow this detailed tutorial and you’ll be good to go!
Stepwise Tutorial
Want to learn the color block eye makeup look? Follow the below steps:
Step 1
Start by moisturizing your delicate eye area to prepare the skin for eye makeup. Pick an eye cream and dot it under your eye area and softly pat it into the skin. Then, take a concealer with your fingers or a flat concealer brush to conceal your dark circles. If you have very deep pigmentation under your eyes, it is best to use a corrector prior to application of concealer. Then, use a loose compact powder and set your concealer to prevent smudging or creasing of the products applied earlier.
Stick a cello tape in the outermost corner of your eyes by connecting an imaginary line extending the lower lashline of your eyes. This tape will act as a guideline for the eye makeup and will also create a sharp wing at the outer corner of your eyes. Then pick a bright matte-red eyeshadow and draw a vertical line on the center of your eyelid area. I used a red eyeshadow from the Elf 144 eyeshadow palette for this step.
Step 2
Then, pick a red kajal or a lip liner and cover the outer half of your eyelid area. This step need not be neat as we will be smudging it later. It is best to use a creamy formula for this step as it will help in easy blending and smudging of the product. I used the Lakme lip liner in red for this step.
Then pick a smudge brush or a pencil type brush to softly smudge the harsh edges left by the liner in the previous step. Do not pull your eyes, but use very light pressure to blend out the liner, restrict the line within the crease area of the eyelid. It is best to keep the outer edge of the eye makeup sharp and clean to achieve a geometric shape in the eye makeup. I used the Colorbar Smudge brush to blend the kajal to get this step right.
Then, take a matte-red eyeshadow and apply it over the smudged red liner. Pick the eyeshadow in a flat brush and softly pat it over the kajal to get the maximum color intensity. I picked the same matte-red eyeshadow from Elf 144 eyeshadow palette for this step.
Step 3
Then pick a blue eye pencil and apply it to the inner half of the eyelid area. I used the Tips and Toes eye pencil in blue. Softly smudge it and layer a cobalt matte blue eyeshadow over it.
Step 4
Apply the same matte blue and red eyeshadow to the lower lashline as shown in the image.
Step 5
Then, use a black liquid eyeliner and create an inverted ‘L’ shape at the center of your eyelid. Line your eyes thinly or thickly according to your preference. I created a dramatic winged eyeliner by extending the upper lashline outwards. Then apply mascara to complete the eye makeup look. I used the Kryolan eyeliner and Loreal Million Lashes Mascara for the perfect look.
And there you have it—a wacky look to go with the trend of this season! This is not an easy look to carry, but if you are game for adventure, wear it to a night party and when people ask reply ‘I believe in staying in sync with the latest trends. Soon, your friends will be following suit! Try it!
103. Perfect Way To Apply Mascara For A Clump-Free Look:
This tutorial will teach you how to apply mascara without clumping up your eyelashes. Read on to know more:
Have you ever thought of painting your eyelashes with powder? Yes, you heard it right! Painting eyelashes with powder is simple and effective. It requires no practice! You will master the art from the first try itself and no one can stop you from having gorgeous doll-like eyes! And, it is easy and safe too!
So, let’s put that powder to good use, shall we?
Step 1:
Use your favorite eyelash curler to curl your eyelashes. It will offer a curled eyelash look. You can slightly warm up the eyelash curler with a hair dryer. This trick will help make your eyelashes slightly stronger and curlier. Give good 2 to 3 curls to your eyelashes and allow it a few seconds to set properly.
Step 2:
Then, take some talcum powder. Make sure that the talcum powder has a fine and soft texture as it might get into your eyes and cause irritation otherwise. I used my Ponds Dream Flower body talcum powder for this step. If you have fine loose or compact powders you can use them for this step. Then, take a clean cotton swab and dip it into the powder. Roll the cotton swab over the powder to get an even coating.
Step 3:
Now, gently coat your eyelashes with the powder. Keep your eyes closed while applying it to the top lashes. Keep your eyes wide open while applying it on the lower lashes. The eyelashes might look unflattering and messy, but you needn’t worry as we will be fixing it in the next step.
Step 4:
Now, take your favorite mascara. Use a clean tissue paper to remove the clumps from the wand, which might give a messy and clumpy look to the eyelashes. Rub the wand gently on the tissue once or twice and then apply generous coats of mascara to your eyelashes.
While applying the mascara, wait for a fraction of seconds before moving to the next coat. Allow it to dry and set for a second and then reapply for a neat and clump-free look.
For a neat look, turn to the tried and tested talcum powder! Who would have thought that the powder could even make our eyes look good!

107. Stunning Dark Violet And Black Eye Makeup
Stepwise Tutorial:
Let’s follow the steps to get the dark violet and black eye makeup look:
Step 1:
Before we move on to the actual tutorial, we’ll need to get our eyes ready! Like all eye makeup tutorials, start the eye makeup with moisturizing your eyes! Gently pat some eye cream to the under eye area to hydrate and relieve the dryness. Apply and blend it completely with a light hand until it is fully absorbed into the skin. People with pigmented eyelids would have to use an orange or peach colored corrector prior to the layering of the concealer to get a flawless finish. Set the concealer with a translucent or compact powder to prevent the creasing of the cream applied earlier.
Now, pick a matte light purple eyeshadow and apply it to the eye socket or the crease area of your eyes. Load the eyeshadow in a fluffy blending brush. With a wind shield wiper motion, softly blend the color into the crease.
Now apply a creamy black eyeshadow or a black kajal base to the entire eyelid area and restrict application above the natural crease area of your eyes. The application of the cream base in this step needn’t be very neat as we will smudge it later to create a smokey look.
Step 2:
Now pick a darker matte purple eyeshadow and apply it over the crease area. This step will add a transition from the dark matte black to the light purple eyeshadow applied earlier.
Step 3:
Pick a rounded smudger or pencil type brush to softly blend the rough edges of the creamy kajal base applied in the earlier step. Blending, blending and blending ─ that’s what this whole step is about. Pull out a clean, fluffy blending brush and create circular motions over the darker purple eyeshadow applied in the previous step. Now blend for a seamless finish. You should remember to achieve a soft transition of colors from black, dark purple to light purple. Then, pick a shimmery violet eyeshadow. Apply it to the crease area of your eyes, and again start blending all the eyeshadows.
Step 4:
Now, pick a matte black eyeshadow and apply it to the center of your eyelid area. Remember to apply this eyeshadow above the smudged-out creamy base. Gently pat the black eyeshadow and avoid sweeping motion to achieve maximum color pay off.
Step 5:
Apply the same black kajal to the lower waterline of your eyes. Then, use the same pencil brush to gently blend out the kajal to the lower lash line of your eyes to create a soft balanced smokey look. Now pick the same matte black eyeshadow and set the kajal formula to prevent the creasing later. Apply a grayish highlighter shade to the inner corners of your eyes to highlight. Then, apply a shimmery highlighter shade to the brow bone area of your eyes.
Then, curl your eyelashes and apply lots of mascara to give an illusion of thicker and fuller eyelashes. If you love to create an intense and dramatic look, you can add false eyelashes.
108. Scalloped Eye Makeup
Stepwise Tutorial:
Let’s begin the makeup tutorial!
Step 1:
Draw a curved one and a half inch scalloped-like pattern on a piece of paper and cut it carefully with a scissor. Use a sharp scissor for creating neat and clean edges in the eye makeup. This will act as a stencil for the eye makeup.
The curves needn’t be very perfect as it is an eye makeup and imperfections too will add a special touch to your overall look. But, just try to keep it similar in size for a neat and even finish. Cut out the design in a rectangular shape as it will help to keep it in place while working with it on the eyes.
Step 2:
Start applying an eye cream to moisturize and relieve any dryness in the under eye area. Gently use the ring finger to apply and blend the product. Allow it to be absorbed, and then apply your favorite concealer. If you have very pigmented eyelids, then it is best to use a corrector prior to the application of the concealer. Set the concealer with powder to avoid creases and fine lines.
Then pick a green eyeshadow and apply it to the entire eyelid area of your eyes. It is best to use a flat brush and pat the color to build good intensity. I used a matte green for this step, but you can also tweak the finish to shimmery or satin.

Step 3:
Then, gently place the stencil over your eye lid area near the upper lash line. Please check whether your stencil fits the entire eyelid area starting from the inner corner of the eyes to the outermost corner. Pick your favorite liquid liner and slowly fill in the gaps in the cut out design. After applying the liner, just wait for 3 seconds to allow the liner to dry out completely as it might smudge out of the design if it is still wet. It is best to use a liquid eye liner, which has a faster drying formula for this eye makeup, so you don’t have to hold the stencil on your eyes for a long time. Then, slowly remove the stencil and there you have gorgeous scalloped eye makeup. You can store the stencil easily for future use and once you get the idea of stenciling, you can easily make desired shapes like small triangles or zig-zag patterns—it’s all about fun and being creative at the end of the day!
To finish it off, apply the same green eyeshadow to your lower lash line to balance the eye makeup. Line your waterline and tight line your eyes with a dark black kajal. Curl your eyelashes and follow it up with mascara to create an illusion of thicker eyelashes.
109. Beautiful Eye Makeup Tutorial Inspired By Radiant Orchid
Radiant Orchid Inspired Eye Makeup Tutorial:
This step by step tutorial will help to achieve a professional look easily. Try it!
Step 1:
Start by moisturizing the delicate eye area to prepare the skin for the eye makeup. Pick an eye cream and dot it under your eye area and softly pat it into the skin. Then, take a concealer with your fingers or a flat concealer brush to conceal your dark circles. If you have a deep pigmentation under your eyes, it is best to use a corrector prior to the application of the concealer. Then, use a loose compact powder and set your concealer to prevent smudging or creasing of the products applied earlier.
Take a matte medium reddish brown eyeshadow and start applying it to the crease area of the eyes. This color will add dimension and give an illusion of deeper set eyes. Here, I have used a matte reddish brown eyeshadow from the Elf 144 eyeshadow palette to get the desired result.
Step 2:
Then take a soft plum eyeshadow in matte finish and start applying it to the crease area of the eyes. Adding further depth, this color will create an illusion of deeper set eyes. I have used a matte plum eyeshadow from the Elf 144 eyeshadow palette for this step.
Step 3:
Pick a matte purple pink eyeshadow and apply it to the outermost corner and outer v area of your eyes. Here, I have used a matte purple-like pink eyeshadow from the Elf 144 eyeshadow palette. Use a fluffy blending eyeshadow brush for this step as it will help in diffusing the eyeshadow color better into the outer v area of the eyes. Then, take a soft, creamy purple eye pencil to apply it all over your eyelid area. In this step apply the eyeshadow on top of it, to make it appear brighter and pop out. I used the Maybelline purple color eye pencil.
Step 4:
Then, pick a bright purple eyeshadow in matte or satin finish and apply it on your eyelid area. This eyeshadow is to be placed just above the purple eye pencil applied in the previous step. Start by blending the eye pencil with your fingers or a flat eyeshadow brush to get an even base for the eyeshadow, and then top the bright purple eyeshadow over it. Here, I have used a bright purple eyeshadow from the Elf 144 eyeshadow palette. Then, I picked up a hot pink eyeshadow and applied it only to the outer v of the eyes. Here, I used the Lakme eyeshadow duo in pink wink for the hot pink eyeshadow.
Step 5:
Then, take a fluffy blending brush and blend all the eyeshadows applied for a seamless finish. It is important for the different eyeshadows, such as the purples and pinks to blend and look smokey. So, imitating a wind shield motion, softly remove all the harsh edges in the eye makeup. Then, apply the same bright purple eyeshadow to your lower lash line thickly to create a balance in the eye makeup. Apply a soft shimmery white eyeshadow to the innermost corner of the eyes to highlight the eye makeup. Here, I have used a white eyeshadow from the Elf 144 eyeshadow palette. Then, apply a soft cream eyeshadow to the brow bone area of your eyes. Here, I used the Revlon shadow links eyeshadow in the shade sand.
Then, apply a black kajal to the water line and tight line of your eyes. Apply mascara to complete the eye makeup look. Here, I used the Kryolan eye liner and Loreal Million Lashes mascara for this step.
110. Neon Eye Makeup Tutorial
EYESHADOW
Step 1: Use a white base, I used a white eye pencil all over the eye area, lower and upper.
Step 2: Use a black eyeshadow and draw out the outside of the crease.
Step 3: Use a teal/ bright turquoise eyeshadow and fill the outer third of the eye, go over the crease and blend the black.
Step 4: Use a bright yellow shadow and fill in the center of the eyelid, blend slightly into the teal and crease to give more dimension.
Step 5: In the inner third of the eye, use a butter yellow shadow or blend whatever yellow is left on the brush from before.
Step 6: Over the lower lashline (over the white) fill in a bright pink shadow, be careful of fallout!
Extra Tips For Perfect Neon Shadow
- Try neon eye shadows like lime green, blue, yellow or orange.
- Remember not to go overboard with the shade, as it is already a very bright color.
- Choose eye shadows that are heavily pigmented, and use just a tiny bit to shade the eyes.
- Try and combine two shades of eye shadow to balance out the neon effect.
- Make sure the colors are blended well. This will prevent your eye shadow from forming any harsh lines.
- Pair your neon shades with your favorite neutral-colored eye shadows.
- Using a bit of neon color on the inner corner of your eyes can give a big pop to your eyes.
- Use a neutral shade over the rest of your lids if you are already using neon in the inner corners.
LINER
Step 1:Make a pointed triangle around the inner V of the eye.
Step 2:Connect it with a dramatic winged liner.
Step 3:On the lower lid, draw a line going straight out.
Step 4:Connect it to the lash line in a V shape and fill.
Step 5:Fill in the space between the two wings with white eyeshadow.

131. Mermaid Eye Makeup Tutorial:
Let’s begin the mermaid inspired makeup tutorial:
Step 1: Conceal And Add A Creamy Base To Eyelid Area
Apply an eye cream to hydrate the eye area. This will help in keeping control of dry patches which can arise after concealer application. Then, take a full coverage concealer and conceal dark circles to create a flawless base. Set the concealer with a compact powder to prevent creasing of the product.
Apply a creamy base to your eye lid area to lighten any eyelid pigmentation and increase the vibrancy of the eyeshadow to be applied later. Then, softly smudge the creamy base with a stiff flat eyeshadow brush. Here, I have used the Oriflame nude eye Kajal.
Step 2: Apply Eyeshadow
Apply a shimmery high frosty white eyeshadow to the innermost corner of your eyelid. Pat the eyeshadow slowly without sweeping it as it will lighten the color intensity. Here, I have used a shimmery white eyeshadow from the 120 eyeshadow palette.

Step 3: Smudge The Creamy Base
Apply a creamy aqua blue eye liner in the center of your eyelid, and a deep cobalt blue eye liner to the outer corner of the eye. This will again lighten the eyelid pigmentation and increase the vibrancy of the eyeshadows to be applied later. Now, softly smudge the creamy base with a stiff flat eyeshadow brush. Here, I have used the Tips and Toes Kajal in blue and Maybelline Colossal Kajal in Turquoise.
Step 4: Give a Seamless Finish
Apply a shimmery bright aqua blue eyeshadow to the center of your eyelid and a deep cobalt blue matte eyeshadow to the outer corner of the eye. Use soft, gentle strokes and blend all the 3 eyeshadows applied for a seamless finish. Here, I have used the Coastal scents eyeshadow in jewel teal and royal blue.
Step 5: Define The Crease Area
Use a fluffy blending brush and apply a matte deeper blue to the crease area of the eye and start defining the crease. Do not bring the eyeshadow towards the center of the eyes. Restrict the application only at the outermost corner of the eyes. Here, I have used a darker blue eyeshadow from the 120 eyeshadow palette.

Step 6: The Illusion Of Bigger Eyes
Reapply the same shimmery frosty white eyeshadow again to the innermost corner and brow bone area of the eye to highlight your eyes. This will also bring a lift to your eyes and give an illusion of bigger eyes.
Step 7: Complete The Gorgeous Look
Apply the same aqua blue and cobalt blue eyeshadow to the lower lash line to bring a balance in the makeup. Then, line your eyes either thinly or thickly according to your preference. Here, I have used the Kryolan liquid eyeliner in black. Then, use an aqua blue liquid eyeliner and draw small and bigger dots in a random manner at the outermost corner and innermost corner of your eyes to complete this gorgeous mermaid eye makeup. Here, I have used the Maybelline hyper glossy eyeliner in Turquoise. Apply lots of mascara to create a thicker lash effect. Here, I have used the Loreal volume million lashes mascara.

Stepwise Tutorial:
So, let’s pay goodbye to the summer months with an ode to nature! Follow the steps to create that watermelon-inspired look:
Step 1:
Before you begin, make sure your eye area is properly hydrated. A dry skin can lead to patches once the makeup is applied. Use an under eye cream and make sure the skin around the eyes is moisturized. Then, take a full coverage concealer and conceal the dark circles, if you have any. This step will help to create a flawless base for the eye makeup. Set the concealer with a compact powder to prevent creasing of the product.
Then, apply your favorite eyeshadow base or eye primer to make your eyeshadows appear vibrant and last longer. Then, apply a matte soft pink eyeshadow to the crease area of your eyes and start defining your eyes. This color will act as a transition color in the eye makeup and also offer a smokey look to the eyes.
Step 2:
Then, pick a bright reddish pink matte eyeshadow to the rest of your eyelid area. Gently pat the eyeshadow with a flat eyeshadow brush. Then, take a fluffy eyeshadow brush and soften the edges of the eye makeup, blend the soft pink applied in the previous step with the matte reddish pink eyeshadow for a soft transition of colors like a watermelon.
Step 3:
Then, apply a soft pinkish creamy base to the innermost corner and the one third areas of your eyes as shown in the picture.
Step 4:
Then, use your finger to softly blend the creamy base uniformly. Apply a soft white eyeshadow over the creamy base to highlight your eyes. Setting a powder eyeshadow over the cream base will also prevent creasing of the eye makeup. The white eyeshadow applied can be in a matte or a shimmery finish according to your preference. As I wanted to create a soft highlighted effect to the eye makeup, I picked a soft shimmery eyeshadow.
Step 5:
Then, apply a deep green eye pencil to the waterline and lower lash line area of your eyes to reflect the outer skin color of watermelon.
Step 6:
Then, reapply the reddish pink matte eyeshadow to the outermost corner of the eye area as it might have faded slightly because of the blending. Then, apply a deep green eyeshadow over the green eyeliner in the lower lash line to offer a soft smokey look to the eyes. Line your eyes thinly or thickly according to your choice, here I have created a soft winged eyeliner look. You can stop the eye makeup right here if you wish. Or you can take it a little further. If you are feeling particularly adventurous, apply small dots to the outermost corner of the eyes to reflect the watermelon seeds. To draw the watermelon seeds, create soft smaller dots and elongated circles irregularly on the upper lash line and the outermost corner of your eyes. It is better to use a thin and fine brush for this step to draw desired shapes easily.

Stepwise Tutorial:
Follow the steps to create the emerald eye makeup look:
Step 1:
The first lesson of makeup—always start with hydration! Gently pat your favorite under eye cream to make the delicate area moisturized and remove dryness. Remember, even the slightest issue of dry skin can make your makeup appear patchy. Apply the cream and blend it gently using your ring finger till it dissolves into the skin. People with darker and pigmented eyelids should use salmon or orange colored corrector before concealing to make sure that your dark circles are well hidden and also to get an even base for the eye makeup. Then, set it with a compact powder to stop creasing of the products applied earlier.

Step 2:
Pick a matte brown eyeshadow in a blending brush and softly blend it out at the eye socket area to act as a transition color in the eye makeup. It will create a soft smokey look. Gently blend it away into the crease by imitating a soft circular motion. Pick a creamy dark green kajal and cover up your entire eyelid area. Don’t worry about being precise as we’ll be smudging the whole thing in the next step.
Step 3:
Use a smudger or pencil brush and gently blend the sharp edge of the green kajal. If the kajal applied has a nice creamy texture, it will blend effortlessly. Work in quick motions to blend the formula for a softer look.
Step 4:
Now, pick a deep green satin finish eyeshadow and pack it to the entire eyelid area.
Step 5:
Take a dark matte brown eyeshadow in a flat brush and pack it to the outer crease area of your eyes. Blending is very important to get this eye look right. Keep blending softly to create a emerald smokey eye look as stark and sharp-edged eyeshadow will not look sensuous.
Step 6:
Take a creamy black kajal and line your upper lash line thickly. Do not line your eyes by winging it outside your natural eye shape. Then pick a smudger or use your tiny finger to blend the black kajal on the upper as well as the lower lash line to give a smokey edge to the eye makeup.
Apply the dark green emerald eye shadow which we used earlier to the lower lash line. Then, line your waterline with a creamy black kajal. Follow it by curling your eye lashes, and then apply mascara to create an illusion of fuller eyelashes. As I wanted to create an intense eye makeup look, I attached a pair of false lashes. But, you can totally skip this step if you want to! Apply a highlighter champagne eyeshadow to the brow bone. That was an interesting twist, wasn’t it? Smokey eyes, but with a difference! This look will surely spice up your dull makeup. Yes, the traditional eye makeup is ‘safe’. But why play safe when the risks can deliver such amazing results? Try this emerald green eye makeup look and don’t forget to share your experience with us.
134. Stepwise Tutorial Of Cinderella Eye Makeup:
Let’s begin the Cinderella eye makeup tutorial:
Eye Makeup:
Step 1:
Apply an eye cream to hydrate your eye area. This will help in keeping control of dry patches, which can arise after the application of the concealer. Then, take a full coverage concealer and conceal the dark circles to create a flawless base. Set the concealer with a compact powder to prevent creasing of the product.
Let’s begin the eye makeup. Apply a creamy base to your eyelid area to lighten any eyelid pigmentation and increase the vibrancy of the eyeshadow to be applied later. Then, softly smudge the creamy base with a stiff flat eyeshadow brush. Here, I have used the Oriflame nude eye Kajal.
Apply a shimmery high frosty white eyeshadow to the innermost corner of your eyelid. Pat the eyeshadow slowly without sweeping it as it will lighten the color intensity. Here, I have used a shimmery white eyeshadow from the 120 eyeshadow palette.
Step 2:
Apply a creamy aqua blue eye liner to the center of your eyelid. This step will lighten any eyelid pigmentation and increase the vibrancy of the eyeshadows to be applied later. Then, softly smudge the creamy base with a stiff flat eyeshadow brush. Here, I have used the Tips and Toes Kajal in blue.
Then, apply a shimmery bright aqua blue eyeshadow to the center of your eye lid. Use soft, gentle strokes and blend the two eyeshadows applied for a seamless finish. Here, I have used the Miss Claire eyeshadow for the aqua blue eyeshadow.

Step 3:
Take a matte cobalt bright eyeshadow and apply it to the outermost corner of your eyes. Then, use a fluffy blending brush to start defining the crease. Do not bring the eyeshadow towards the center of the eyes and restrict the application only to the outermost corner of the eyes. Here, I have used a cobalt blue eyeshadow from the 120 eyeshadow palette.

Step 4:
Reapply the same shimmery frosty white eyeshadow again to the innermost corner and brow bone area of the eye to highlight your eyes. This application will also offer a lift to your eyes and give an illusion of bigger eyes.
Step 5:
Then, take a matte grey eyeshadow and apply it to the crease area of your eyes. Use a fluffy blending brush and start defining the crease again to create an illusion of deeper set eyes. Here, I have used a grey eyeshadow from the 120 eyeshadow palette. Then, apply a yellowish gold eyeshadow to the center of your lower lash line to reflect the hair colour of Cinderella. Here, I have used the Lakme eyeshadow palette in Tanjore Rush for the yellow gold eyeshadow.
Step 6:
Line your eyes, thinly or thickly according to your preference. Here, I have used the Kryolan liquid eye liner in black shade. Apply lots of mascara and also add false lashes to replicate the dolled up princess eye makeup look.
Face Makeup:
Step 7:
Apply a heavy coverage foundation in a shade lighter than your natural skin tone. This will help to replicate the radiant and flawless skin like Cinderella. Then, set it with an oil-free compact powder to prevent the creasing of the product. Apply a soft hot pink blush on your cheek area to get a rosy glow.
Lip Makeup:
Step 8:
Apply a bubblegum hot pink lipstick all over your lips to create bright and vibrant lips. And you are done. Try this look for themed parties, Halloween or any fantasy makeup party to wow the crowd.
135. Robotic Eye Makeup Look Tutorial:
Have you tried a modern robotic eye look? How about offering something different and ambitious look to your eyes today? I have created a modern, bold, and dramatic eye makeup look inspired by robots. Wish to learn how to do it? Then read this article for a detailed step by step tutorial:
Let’s follow the steps to learn about the Robotic Eye Makeup Look:
Step 1:
Start by moisturizing the delicate eye area. Dot your favorite eye cream under the eye area and use your ring finger to gently blend it into the skin. Then, allow it to get absorbed into the skin. After a minute, apply a concealer and conceal your dark circles. Use a flat concealer brush or fingers to blend the concealer. Set the creamy concealer with loose or compact powder to prevent slipping off of the product.
Stick a cello tape at the outermost corner of your eyes by connecting an imaginary line extending the lower lash line of your eyes. This tape will act as a guideline for the eye makeup and will also create a sharp wing at the outer corner of your eyes. Then, pick a black kajal and draw a small triangular shape at the outermost corner of your eyes. Pull the triangle inside the eyes by following the natural crease area of your eyes. It is best to use a creamy formula kajal for this step as it will help in easy blending and smudging of the product. I used the Lotus Herbals creamy kajal in black for this step.
[ Read: Egyptian Queen Inspired Eye Makeup ]
Step 2:
Start defining your natural crease area with the same black kajal used in the previous step. Then pick a smudge brush or a pencil type brush and softly smudge the harsh edges created by the kajal. Do not pull your eyes, but use very light pressure to blend out the kajal. I used the Colorbar Smudge brush to blend the kajal in this step.
Step 3:
Then, take a matte black eyeshadow and apply it over the smudged black kajal. Pick the eyeshadow with a flat brush and softly pat it over the kajal to get maximum color intensity. I picked a matte black eyeshadow from Kryolan for this step. Then, pick a silvery white eyeshadow in satin or shimmer finish and apply it to the center of the eye lid area of your eyes. I used a light silver eyeshadow in satin finish from the Elf 144 eyeshadow palette.
[ Read: Tropical Eye Makeup ]
Step 4:
Then, pick a fluffy blending brush to softly blend the matte black and silver eyeshadow applied in the previous step. Eye makeup looks seamless and smokey only if the different eye colors are blended well. I used a blending brush from Vega to softly blend the eyeshadow.
[ Read: Mysterious Eye Makeup Tutorial ]
Step 5:
As the eye makeup look is modern and inspired from a robot, I created a stronger crease eye look. To create a precise and well defined crease, I picked up a black liquid eye liner and drew a sharp thin line over the natural crease area of my eyes. Kryolan black liquid eye liner was used for this step. Then, apply the same silver eyeshadow to the innermost corner of your eyes and apply a matte white eyeshadow to the brow bone area of your eyes. Elf 144 eyeshadow palette was used for the matte white eyeshadow. Then, apply the same silver eyeshadow to the inner one third and matte black eyeshadow to the rest of your lower lash line of your eyes to create a balanced and even finish.
Step 6:
Line your eyes with a sharp wing to finish the eye makeup. Apply lots of mascara to create an illusion of thicker eyelashes. L’Oreal Million Lashes Mascara and Kryolan black eye liner were used to achieve this step.
A very metallic look, don’t you agree? This look can rock an evening party like no other! With the right clothes and accessories, this robotic eye makeup will surely take up your popularity quotient sky high! Try it!
